So next I removed the rest of the interior. I didn't find anything scarey and I was happy about that. I was expecting to find some nasty sheetmetal underneath the rubber endcap at the front of the driver rear window but was surprised to find it in excellent shape.

In the following pictures you will see the original color of the car on the backseat side area, where a rectangular hole was openned up to accomodate a 6" round speaker, a yellow door from a donor car, and the driver's side floorpan which looks good.

Other than surface rust everything looks good. Even the wheel wells, a troublesome area, looked nice.

...but as expected there are going to be a couple places that are going to need more than just sandblasting. Still, none of them are nightmares and I am happy for that. You'll see these things on the next page.
