XB Falcons

The XB Falcon followed the XA Falcon in 1973. Differences are the grill, front fenders, door handles, and tail lights. This is the style that was used for the Interceptor. People build them out of the XA's to the XC's as long as they can get their hands on the correct XB parts. XC's require less parts replacement and that will be covered on the XC page.

The style of the hood scoops were changed to a style much more like the scoops found on the 1971 - 1973 American Ford Mustang Mach I. As much alike as the hoods appear they are not interchangeable. No body parts from America were used on these Falcons except for the front bumper from certain Mustangs of this generation. If I am in error of that I am sure someone will let me know, but I think the bumpers in the pictures below, though taken at slightly different angles, look very much the same.
