While cutting back and forth between the action and listening to the chase over his police radio he walks to the side of his vehicle and grabs some hand cleaner as if knowing he is going to be needed. There still seems to be no urgency in his actions. He puts his leather jacket on while The Night Rider screams over the radio.

All we get are glimpses of this man. It is a very cool way to intrigue the viewer and make you wonder just how ominous this character is.

Finally we get to see the car. It has "Interceptor" written across the back of it as did one of the cars in the chase after the Night Rider but this car is in much better condition. Still with no urgency we watch him pull out onto the road. His car sounds well tuned and ready for action.

He stops his car, poised and ready to intercept the Night Rider.
